How to measure underarm to underarm
For a kurti or top laid flat — measure straight across the chest.
Lay the garment flat
Button or zip it closed, smooth out wrinkles, then measure from the seam under one arm to the seam under the other arm.
Important: Underarm-to-underarm is the flat garment width, not your body bust circumference. For example, a 21-inch flat width means the garment measures approximately 42 inches around the chest. A garment also needs some room for comfort, so do not use this as an exact body-size conversion.
